OAKLAWN STORAGE / HARWOOD HEIGHTS STORAGE

DSM offers design/build on small- to large-scale projects. These two self-storage buildings were design/build, ranging from 96,000 to 110,000 square feet and from 4 to 5 stories high. DSM worked directly with the owner/developer to design the electrical distribution, including the lighting, lighting controls (with motion and occupancy sensors), power distributions, access control, and a fire alarm for the second building.

10700 HIGGINS, ROSEMONT

DSM is not only a construction contractor, but handles small- to large-service projects. North Pointe Towers in Rosemont, IL is a large, three-story office building in which DSM completed a large-scale renovation. The project included installing a large 480-volt diesel generator, 2 new transformer pads, one 1600-amp, 120/208-volt service with 24 tenant meters and one 800-amp 277/480-volt service with two separate rated meters. DSM also installed new common area lighting, site lighting, and power distribution. This project was completed without any unscheduled interruptions of electrical service to the building or its tenants. DSM worked closely with COM ED, the owners, the existing tenants, other on-site contractors, and the City of Rosemont to maintain a safe and efficient working environment for all the construction companies who worked there daily as well as the tenants.

YORKSHIRE COURTS, ELMHURST

Yorkshire Courts is a 27-unit townhouse development located in Elmhurst IL. All units were semi-custom, requiring DSM to work as if each unit were a separate project. This is just one of many multi- and single-family residential projects DSM has completed on-time and on-budget.

Restaurants

DSM Enterprises, Inc. also has completed many commercial restaurant type projects, including Panera Bread stores. We can complete these projects in a timely fashion and adhere to the time schedules these projects normally have.
